Approaching the New Year with a certain amount of shoulder shrugging. My life has been all highs and lows in the past month--no middles at all to speak of. I find myself in a great relationship for once, but worrying about other things that are trying to drag me back down into the abyss of depression. I'm going kicking and screaming this time. I'm not about to surrender to depression just when I'm starting to feel good for once in my damn life.

Anyway, a new story is up. It's a little ditty written in about an hour on my Ipod (QuickOffice is proving handy for late night writing in bed). It's pointless, like a lot of my work, but tries to say something, even if it doesn't do a better job than an infant wailing and thrashing its limbs around in some vain attempt to be understood.
